libventrilo-dev software package provides library for communicating with Ventrilo servers (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libventrilo-dev
libventrilo-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libventrilo-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libventrilo-dev *
You will get with libventrilo-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
